Meet Chris Garrow
Getting to Know Chris Garrow, our candidate for Pastor of Worship and Connection Groups.
“My name is Chris Garrow, I am a husband to the beautiful Jessica and I'm a father of six amazing children, AnnaMarie (5 months), AnnaBelle (1), Jude (6), Joshua (12), Gabriel (13) and Angel (14). We currently live in Clarksville, TN just outside of Fort Campbell, KY. I was saved from a life of drugs, alcohol and sex addiction while serving as a Soldier in Nuremberg, Germany. After a deployment to Iraq, I felt God calling me into ministry and began pursuing ministry academically and through serving the Church. Before vocational ministry I spent 10 years in the military and owned a thriving landscape business, but God has put a fire in me that only ministry satisfies. I’ve served on various church staffs across different denominations and church styles in many capacities: as a volunteer, part-time and then as a vocational pastor. I have a Bachelor of Religion in Biblical Studies and a Master of Arts in Theology both from Liberty Seminary. As a Shepherd of the Bride of Christ, my vision is to see Jesus alive in the hearts, minds, and lives of believers; I believe this is revival. Revival starts in the hearts of individual Christians and pours over into the life of the church and then into the unsaved community surrounding the church. My wife and I have followed God’s call which has led us to candidate at Columbia Grove Covenant Church. Our hobbies include: watching movies, playing golf, playing music, playing Xbox 360 with the boys and bee keeping.”
