The first five books of the Bible describe the origins of God's good creation, the beginning of human rebellion and the birth of the family of Israel - the people chosen and prepared by God to be a light to all people. From this family would eventually come the one who would redeem and rescue all humanity - Jesus Christ.
The series concludes with Moses' final speech to the Israelites - reminding them to put God first in everything.

First Five - God of Genocide?
The first five books of the Bible describe the origins of God's good creation, the beginning of human rebellion and the birth of the family of Israel - the people chosen and prepared by God to be a light to all people. From this family would eventually come the one who would redeem and rescue all humanity - Jesus Christ.
This message seeks to clear up one of the greatest misunderstandings about Scripture. Why did God command the Israelites to destroy the specific people groups as they inhabited the Promised Land? The answer teaches us much about another important question. Why does God allow evil in the world?
